Ovation TV

A cable channel I just recently discovered is Ovation TV. I didn’t know it existed until I was resetting my favorites on digital cable not too long ago. Apparently, the channel has been around in some form for about 12 years. If you can’t find anything to watch, try this channel. I have recently seen a documentary on John Lennon and a show about one of Marilyn Monroe’s chief photographers and friend, Eve Arnold. As I am composing this post, an interview with Frank McCourt (author of Angela’s Ashes) is being shown on the channel. Some of the subheadings on the website include performance, people, art, music, and film. Ovation TV’s website is also fun to browse.

Aloha, Yack! I am glad you found it. Not your usual TV shows. Did you see the blog I have listed called Ennyman’s Territory and his entry on Zappa? Let me know . . .
